We are dedicated to contributing to positive change in our modern world.

Indigenous Designs

Picture
At Indigenous Designs, they believe their business
activity should have a positive affect on all the
communities we touch. From our beginnings over
a decade ago, they have held themselves
accountable to make the choices that honor both
people and the planet. This means respecting
the culture and traditions of artisans around the
world with fair trade practices, using only natural
and organic fibers and being conscious of our
business practices at home. Indigenous Designs
has seen firsthand how their choices can make
a big difference for those communities involved in
creating their clothing.

pi Organics

Picture
Perfectly Imperfect Organics is a made in the USA, Los Angeles based collection of eco-contemporary clothing.

Founder and Designer, Jadie Kadletz had taken her affinity for comfort and modern design and fused it with organic fabrics. What started out as a small collection of basics has grown into a fashion-forward collection of lifestyle, loungewear and lingerie. The inspiration for the brand is the Chinese wabi sabi aesthetic of simplicity and uniqueness.

Green Sewn

Picture
GreenSewn is an eco fashion design company that creates unique eco-chic one of a kind scarves by recycling old vintage saris. If you don't know what a sari is, it's a long (usually 15 feet or more) garment worn by women in India. Our recycled vintage sari scarves are colorful, intricately patterned, and sometimes have intricate gold "zari" work hand woven into the borders. We collect the softest and prettiest old saris and lovingly recycle them into luxurious, authentic, ultra limited edition and gloriously colorful green fashion creations that are both sexy and sustainable.

We believe that sustainable agriculture and re-forestation of degraded lands are essential to the long term health of our planet. Trees For the Future is a non profit organization, rated 4 stars by charity navigator, that since 1989 has promoted the practice of agro-forestry through their tree planting and education programs worldwide. We are proud to support Trees For the Future by planting 10 trees with every purchase you make.

PO-ZU

Picture
All PO-ZU products are free from harmful
chemicals and components are organically
certified when possible. PO-ZU avoid toxic
glues and solvents by stitching its footwear
products together, making them more
breathable, durable, repairable and
recyclable.

In addition to the comfort of both planet
and wearer, the way PO-ZU works with
people is extremely important. PO-ZU likes
to ensure that producers are treated with
great care and respect. This season PO-ZU's
entire line is produced in what is probably
one of the most ethical and "clean" shoe
factories on Portugal, and is fully compliant
with the Ethical Trading Code of Practice
(www.ethicaltrade.org).

Autonomie Project & Ethletic Footwear

Picture
Autonomie Project is a new Fair Trade fashion company offering stylish sweatshop-free & eco-friendly footwear, clothing and accessories. Born out of frustration that most sweatshop-free clothing was unfashionable and most eco-friendly clothing was likely made in a sweatshop (and that most major corporations lack any kind of true transparency), a few good friends set off to start a new and different company.

Their mission: to supply high-quality, stylish garments to consumers that seek to make purchases that align with their values without having to sacrifice their own personal style. All while making a positive social impact on our earth and raising awareness about today’s most pressing global issues.

Tia's

Picture
Born in Sept. of 2008, Tia’s is a simple but unique sandal design which lets you  swap out the sandal tops and tie them up in different ways to create your own personalized style. Our own tops are made of lovely, colorful recycled vintage silk saris, but you can also buy tops from 3rd party top designers or even make your own!

Versatile yet simple. No high tech bells or whistles. A leather sandal base and a pair of sandal tops. You can buy the tops from us, make your own (easy if you can sew), or have someone creative make you a special pair. Sandal tops are colorful, usually inexpensive, and a fun (and frugal) way to change your look without having to buy a whole new pair (who doesn't want to save money these days?)

Zorbitz

Picture
In an effort to improve the living conditions of people around the world, Zorbitz created the Women’s Economic Development Project (“WE”), which brings to the market Fair Trade products that are handmade by women in local communities around the world. These products, which are sold under our Giving Tree label, assist these communities by providing equal opportunity and fair wages to their artisans so that they may provide the basic living and educational needs for their families.

For example, our Acai Bracelets are made in Brazil by Sambazon, a member of the Fair Trade Federation. Sambazon works with women co-ops and is our main manufacturer for the bracelets pursuant to the Fair Trade standards. Our Acai Necklaces and a few of our Bracelets are similarly made in Brazil by women co-ops pursuant to the Fair Trade standards. The sustainable, organic Coffee Bean Bracelets are proudly made by women co-ops in Costa Rica that also adhere to the Fair Trade standards. These bracelets enable the women to buy school uniforms so that their children may receive an education.

Zorbitz will continue to bring the WE program to different countries, making a difference one product at a time. ZOLD is honored to help support Zorbitz with their We program by offering their products to retailers throughout Canada.
